Hi Margie and Molly,
I'm writing with Momma's help.My first week in the new house has been GREAT!I spend all day chasing the little one called Val and trying to eat her diaper. This is great fun as she runs from me.Also I go for lots of car rides. At first I wasn't sure if I liked the car and I cried a little, now when I see them getting shoes on I head right for the door!I have my own towel to lay on in the car and I get right in my seat and sit quietly.Speaking of shoes,I learned that sneakers are not for eating(who knew??)
We have been working on some simple commands,I know sit already and all momma or daddy has to do is raise their hand and I sit! They say I am such a smart girl! Also,we are "crate training",I'm ok with it as long as it's at bedtime,or when I chose to go in it.At mealtimes I have to go in cause I like to beg for food.
I am eating 3 good meals a day, momma gives me yogurt with breakfast and cottage cheese at dinner.I LOVE IT!
Potty training is going good,I get special treats every time I potty outside.Sometimes I use the puppy pad in the house but not often.Daddy says I am learning very quick.
The kids and I love to run in the yard.We chase balls and frisbees! And I love to walk on the leash.I get tons of exercise everyday(as you will see in the pics)I nap ALOT cause I am so tired from playing so much!
Momma says we will be going on our first trip to NH this weekend, and I have already made a trip to the nursing home to visit the nice people there!
I am such a busy pup,and I love my new family so much already.Miss you both and all my brothers and sister but I'm doing great!
Love,
Ginny Sears

Hi Margie,

We thought you would like to see just how much Thunda has grown! He is a big boy, probably weighing 75-80 pounds now. He is absolutely beautiful! His fur is so soft and his eyes just glow. It doesn't matter where  I take Thunda people constantly stop me to tell me how beautiful he is. Thunda's vet Dr. Mello just loves him. He says that Thunda is flawless and his English Cream markings are beautiful.

Bringing Thunda home was the best decision we could have ever made as a family. He loves his life; mom, dad and brother. He has such a personality unlike any other golden we have ever had. Thunda loves to play and run. His toys and his homemade treats are Thunda's prize possessions! He loves to lay on his back and play toys and he loves to catch balls. He runs like a jack rabbit and jumps unbelievably high. And the snow, oh my god he would sleep in the snow if I let him. He brings his balls outside bury's them in the snow and then has fun finding them. He can't get enough of it! If we are not playing then we are on a walk. Thunda loves his walks, we go at least twice a day.

He loves everyone. Thunda truly believes that everyone who comes to his house is here to come and see him. When he is outside playing he thinks he is king of the neighborhood! Thunda is hyper sensitive to noise, he hears every little sound. He never misses a trick!

He may think he is king of the neighborhood, he knows he is the king in this house. We wouldn't have it any other way. The love and energy he gives us is PRICELESS.

We will write again soon.....

Love,
Lorrie, Chris, Kyle and Thunda

Samson - Winnie & Harry litter (2008)

Hi Margie, Hope all is well with you. Just wanted to send you some recent pics of my little friend. He's the best!

Dear Margie-

I just wanted to give you an update on how Hope was doing!  As you can see from her 9-month old Happy Dog picture, she is growing wonderfully and is a joy to our family.   She passed Puppy School with flying colors and is finally actually retrieving when we throw a ball (for awhile shed just go and get it, but wouldn't bring it back!)   She is getting plenty of play time with our girls, who still fight over who is going to play with her next.   Although I think her favorite toy is Dad.  Pete runs, rubs and lightly wrestles with her,  and he is willing to throw stuff for her to chase for hours.  It is fun to watch!

.The most interesting thing is how much attention Hope gets when we take her out.  It is not uncommon to have 1-2 people stop us and comment on how beautiful and good natured she is.    She really catches the eyes of any dog lover out there.

Her manner continues to be as sweet as it was when we first got her.   She greets us all so enthusiastically (and no jumping!) when we get home, even when we are only out for a few minutes.  I want to thank you for such a sweet, wonderful dog!

Boston

Hi Margie,

Everyone is fine here. I'm attaching a picture of Boston and me that we took today for you. He is doing great!! He is so much fun!! He has learned to sit at command and is doing fantastic with potty training. At his first vet visit he weighed 7 lbs and some ounces. Since they didn't give him a shot at that visit, we had to bring him back about two weeks later and he was over 12 lbs.!! As you can see from the picture, he is getting big. He is very handsome, don't you think?

One of our neighbors told my husband this: "Boston is the talk of the town. Everyone is talking about how gorgeous he is." I thought that was a pretty impressive comment that people who don't even know me but have seen Boston in our pen area are talking about him to others. We are putting a lock on our pen area as now I'm nervous that someone could quickly open up the gate and take him.

I hope all is well with you, and we'll stay in touch and I'll be sure to send you updated pictures of Boston from time to time.

Hi Margie
Maggie was the hit of the vet's office. She weighs 12lb 5oz. Is
very healthy and strong. She was a perfect lady with the vet who
complimented you on your litter. Thought Maggie's temperament and
appearance are 'perfect'.

She is athletic as you can see from her balancing herself as she
climbs the rocks around the house. Of course my Molly (7 years old) is
showing her the 'ropes' as you will see in the next picture I send today.

Will keep you updated on her progress.

Hi Margie, Winnie and Harry!

It's Rudy. My new mom is helping me with this e-mail. I'm writing to let you know how I'm
doing. I went to the vet on Tuesday evening. There were a lot of nice people there. I wasn't
afraid, but rather, found it to be a very curious place. When the nice people were finished
poking and looking me over, I explored a few things and then settled in for a quick nap while
my Mom and Dad asked some questions. I weigh 10 1/2 pounds now. The vet said that
everything looks and sounds good.

Everyone I meet tells me I'm sooo cute and adorable. However, I must be growing up because
I heard the vet tell mommy I was very "Handsome"!
I have learned to sit very politely for my food and for a treat after I have done something good. I am
stretching out my potty breaks at night so we are all getting more sleep.

I am not fond of my crate during the day. I would much rather play or nap where I
choose. I guess I don't understand that this is sometimes necessary. Mommy and I are working
on it. Both Mommy and Daddy are very attentive to my needs and enjoy teaching me new
things. They are both very patient with my short attention span. Seems every time I look at
them, they tell me how cute I am or they take another picture.

I didn't like the vacuum the first time it came out, but now I'm fine. I sat with a leash by my mom
while I watched the riding mower from a distance. It's quite noisy.

I have many toys. One of my favorite ones is my duck. It's just like Harry's. I like to carry things
in my mouth and I spend a lot of time chewing on my many bones.

Whenever we are out in public, I get a lot of attention. Everyone loves to pet me. My Mommy and
Daddy always look so happy.

Please say hello to all my friends at your house. If you want to write, I have the same e-mail address
and Mom and Dad.

We have a busy day planned, so I have to go now. Thanks again for taking such good care of me.

Love to all of you,
Rudy xxx ooo

Daisy

Hi Margie,

I have been meaning to email you. Daisy is a peach!! She is
absolutely wonderful!! She has totally fit in as part of the family
and likes to be with someone ALL the time. Daisy loves her toys and
she's funny. . . she only wants them in the family room. If we
bring one in the kitchen, she'll take it back to her play area. Did
you guys do that with her? She checked out well at the vet too.
Everyone comments on how beautiful she is, and she is SO good
natured. She's been with so many kids and just is so calm. She is
so smart too with potty training - already learning to go to the
door when she has to go. And, one more funny thing about her is that
she has an incredible nose for mushrooms. She's always running to a
spot in the grass and finding them, so we obviously have to chase
her down and take it out of her mouth. One of our neighbors just
got a golden retriever pup so Daisy had her first "playdate"
yesterday. She really is so strong and healthy!! I will send you a
picture soon with the kids - just need to download them from my
camera.

You are an amazing breeder, Margie. She really is such an excellent
dog!

TeddyTeddy and Scout

Hi Margie,

We just wanted to let you know how happy Teddy has made us already. He
is so amazing! He is developing his personality more and more
everyday.
He instigates almost all of the interactions with Scout and is
relentless to him. He is not afraid of anything. He watches as we
vacuum
the rooms around him and usually just goes off and plays by himself.
He
jumps on Scout and slides off of him like he was sledding down a
mountain in the snow. He is also beginning to go to the back door
almost
every time he needs to go.

Teddy has brought us a ray of sunshine that you know we most definitely
needed with our heartbreak over Bailey. Although he can never replace
Bailey, his playfulness, smiles, and "aren't I the cutest thing you
haveever seen," faces he makes, help us feel joy and makes our hearts very
happy.

He is growing all the time and eats every meal like he has never seen
food in his life. We actually have to keep him from climbing up into
Scout's bowl and stealing his food. He is averaging more than 5 hours
per night sleeping, gets up to go, and then right back to sleep for
another couple of hours.

We wish all of his litter mates the best, as well as you, Charlotte,
and Harry. We could not have found a better bit of love anywhere else. We
love Teddy and we know he will be a show stopper for the rest of his
life.

We will keep sending you pictures so you can see his progress. We
can't wait for camping season so Teddy and Scout can swim at the beaches in
Maine, sit by the campfires we always have, and enjoy life all the
time. He and you are the best!!!!!

Thank you so much,

Sheryl, Jimmy, Scout, & Teddy Mulford

Sadie

Hi Margie,
It's been two weeks here at my new home in Wrentham, and I have to tell you it's a great place. My new Mom and Dad are so proud of me cause I'm such a good girl. My home is really an interesting place. I have a huge yard that I am exploring a little bit more each day. The leaves are so kool....crunchy and fun to chase. Mom and Dad love me to pieces, so I try to be the best puppy ever. I'm doing great on the "training" thing. We have visited a bit and I have met many nice people who think I'm the cutest.
Well, must take my power nap now cause I have so much to do.....
Love to all my brothers and sisters, mom and dad, and of course you Margie. Miss you all.
Thanks for finding me such a great home,
Sadie

PS: Mom and Dad helped me type this and attach some photos of me.

Dear Margie,

I just love, love, love my new family and they really love me bunches and bunches! I live in a nice house and guess what? It has two floors. Lots of room to run and play! I had to learn how >to go up and down the stairs. It was a little scary at first but I got the hang of it now I hop up like a bunny!   I have a great big yard too!! Yippee, Yippee!! My Mommy and Daddy give me lots of love and new toys too! My new brother Kyle and his girlfriend Victoria play with me all the time.  They know I just love, love to have play time! I have a big poolie in my yard….Mommy is so excited< because I am crazy about the water. She says she will take me to the beach when I get bigger…Yay!!

Margie, I do all my pee-pees and poops outside…Mommy and Daddy are so proud of me…. They  always tell me what a good boy I am. I weigh almost twenty-five pounds now; I am really getting to  be a big boy! My new doctor says that I am a really handsome boy and very healthy too!! He put a  special chip in my back so that no one can ever take me from my family….   I have two bestest friends; Nala and Kiera. They are a lot bigger than me but they let me play with them every day! They both are really nice golden retrievers, my pals. Nala and Kiera go for walks with me, mommy and daddy all the time and come over my house every day for play time…I get so excited!! It is so much fun!! They always look out for me, they are very protective…I guess they know  that I am still just a puppy. Their mommy (Auntie Sheila), their brother Tyler, sisters Steph and  Kristin all come and have play time too….I know I am such lucky, lucky boy!

Everywhere I go people just love me….They all tell Mommy that I am so, so, so darn cute! They always ask Mommy where she got me…..I like to stay close to Mommy when there is  someone around that I don’t know….Although Mommy sometimes calls me, “Thunda, Thunda her little boy wonda” because I do love to explore. I have to say that I am quite a curious boy!    Margie, I am learning lots of new things every day ….but I gotta go now its play time. I will  have to write again real soon………. Thunda
